I recently bought the Piranha chest guard for my partner as we are both involved in full contact martial arts. In general punching and kicking arts my partner found a standard guard which is basically a piece of moulded plastic ok but lacking a little in comfort and real protection. However in full contact stickgfighting - arnis, escrima, kali - they just transferred the force without any real dispersement. So we started a hunt for real protection...
It took quite a while. But here it is - the Piranha women's chest guard! It is padded on the outside and more importantly inside so that the force from a solid stick blow isn't transferred into the wearer. With the worry of knocks affecting breast tissue later on in life, i.e. cancer, finding this guard has been a God-send. It works really well and should be considered by any female undertaking such arts/sports. My partner highly recommends it!!!

My wife has been doing martial arts for over 1 year. She has started to get into the sparring aspect lately applying her skills. In the group classes we use real people in scenarios allowing light contact to 1/2 contact to the body and this chest protector allows freedom of movement in and under the arms while still allowing impact in her breast and rib area. (Some beginners have bad control when doing some targeting drills) It also allows the most comfortable fit in a chest guard to find yet. It is not bulky and bunches up like the other 2 chest guards that we bought from another dealer. (FOR $40 MORE) By far the best chest guard and I shopped around several web sites and it is the BEST CHEST GUARD. Save this in your favorites or wish lists now. I think I am going to buy another one for her and just save it in the closet until this one wears out in a couple of years. I also bought some uniforms for myself with the same company and they are a great comfortable fit. I recommend Piranha products to any martial artist for training and self-defense use.
