First of all, the tonfa were not black as the picture shows, which was my main reason for choosing them, and also suffer from poor craftmanship in general. I would probably be better served cutting up a couple of 2x4's and making my own tonfa. Will not be buying from this vendor (Valor) again.

It is veri strong, made in Taiwan is more gualenteed than Made in China, it is my bias but most poeple believe. I am from Mainland, so I am not talk for Taiwanes producers.. Injoy the time with it
You see, i got second one for my friend. As another reviewer said which I didn't agree so I bought for second time---this time the hund-bars of the pair are all loss. I feel bad and I have to apologize to my friend. I cant believe Taiwanese people sell it across the pacific occen!
