The UFC® Ultimate Training Shoe also has the patented training system construction which guards against the unwanted wear and tear of training. The hidden integrated lace system along with the easy slip-on action makes it ideal for your indoor training. Injection molded EVA provides a soft and cushioned strike area with an ultra-lightweight structural feel. Great Krav Maga shoe Sep 18, 2008

My work out mostly consists of Krav Maga 3 times a week. After a year my Discipline shoes fell apart from the dampness and abuse. I decided to try the Ringstar Triple S Sparring Shoe and I am quite happy.

They are quite light yet very supportive of my feet. They seem to be built very well and require no break in period. The Velcro padded tongue is effective but not intrusive. The tongue does not interfere with my Krav Maga shin guards (particularly the instep pad).

I recommend these shoes to any serious Martial artist looking for foot protection during sparring and regular workouts.

If my Ringstar shoes last at least as long as my Discipline shoes then I will really be impressed.

Update 4/2009 - Shoes lasted about 7-8 months. Sole wore out and bacame very slippery in the gym.

Mainly, my son wanted these shoes because he is a UFC fan and thought they looked cool. I had done very little research on the product, so was quite surprised when they arrived. These shoes are amazingly lightweight and so well constructed! I was amazed and so pleased! My son is hard on shoes and I've seen very expensive shoes just fall apart. I was able to see right away that these would not be self-destructing.

I'm not sure if the many pics and views of this shoe online viably transmit just how unique the style is. Simply put, these shoes look COOL. Somehow, someway, they've made a shoe that is unique. Trust me, nothing else looks like this. This shoe is the best looking shoe ever. When I take my son to MA, he needs something comfy, easy to remove, lightweight. These fit the bill and all the other boys are green with envy. These shoes are #1 in the "I WANT" category and all the other boys just about died when my son arrived wearing his.

Unfortunately, they are not for school. These are unique, specialized and sturdy. Just what I wanted for my son.
