I was quite pleased with the rugged design of this one. The chains are mounted very well & will not come off. The only reason it did not receive 5 stars is because it is BLUNT- I recomend a grinder, then Coarse file, then a set of good wetstones to get it sharp. Other than that it is a quality piece of work.

This weapon gives you no more and no less than what the description says. I can't score it badly because it did everything it said it would but this is not a serious weapon for forms. I have spliced on a newer, longer chain not only because the one it comes with is too short, but it consistently got stuck in the kama itself. Not for one who is not willing to spend more money on perfecting it.

this is a very good kama but the picture is a little of with the chain its a lot shorter then the picture shows. but all in all me and my friends love practicing and cosplaying with this item

Hi:
The kusari kama seems sturdy enough but the chain is WAY to short. All the kusari kama Kata you'll see depends
on a long chain.
