This wooden sword took quite a while to come but when it did it came in a triangular prism shaped box, I opened it and found a brand new smooth wooden sword (just what I ordered) I was almost afraid to use it, You had to do a little assembling with the hand guard (square thingy) and the white thing that holds it, the white thing is actually a durable black rubber material,I guess they made it white in the picture to show you the pieces, they did a nice job setting it up in the box all fancy and stuff.
OVER ALL THE PRICE IS UNBELIEVABLY LOW FOR SUCH A WELL MADE WOODEN SWORD
and I hope u get the same product in the same condition

Purchased for my young son's Halloween costume, this is a quality product worth many times more than the price. I wouldn't recommend striking another wooden sword with it, but for a costume or display, it is top notch.

Awesome Ninja Bokken. 2 Assembly pieces: handguard and rubber piece that secures the handguard. Fairly durable but don't abuse it. The way it has 6 corner edges and it's shape of the wooden blade makes it look nice. The black paint doesn't come off easily. They can be heavy to swing with force. True to the Ninja-to being 34" total length (my arm's length) straight blade with a boat's tip. 38"- 40" are usually the Samurai swords. I just wish it had a Saya (scabbard), laces on the handle, and shoulder strap on the Saya.
I never find a complete set when it comes to the Ninja bokken. Sigh...I been looking all over the internet for weeks and still not find a complete ninja bokken that comes with a saya and laces and shoulder strap all together in one package.

I actually got this a week early. It's a great wooden sword for the price. The only thing wrong with it was that when I took a close look at it, I found a small split in the wood at the tip but nothing too bad. I just fixed it with a little super glue. Overall it's a great sword. I would recommend this to a friend.
