5What a deal  Feb 27, 2012
By Alexandra Davis
I can't believe I got these gloves for $15. I have big power in both hands, and these affordable gloves are a little better at protecting my hands than other gloves 2-3 times more expensive. I can hit my heavy bag at 100% without worrying about just one punch not landing perfectly that can damage my hand. I am new to striking, and these gloves really helped unlock my power. I promise this is the last time I say power. They really helped my get creative in throwing combinations with more than three punches with body punches at 100% and kicks. I was using smaller grappling gloves, and 30 minutes on the bag would require 5 days for my hands to recover. Now I can work out everyday. And I can go crazy without smashing my hands.

5Son loves them  Mar 26, 2009
By Suzannah L. Crowder
I bought these for my son for practice at the gym and he loves them a lot. He says they are very comfortable, hold up quite well, and have great support. Thanks!

1A Waste of Earth's Resources.  Jan 09, 2012
By AndThen
Let's see...

I bought a pair because, well honestly, the only reason I can imagine anyone would consider purchasing these pair of gloves, "TITLE Classic Boxing Gloves," is because of the low price at (currently) under $15. That's a big mistake. In my opinion, burning your cash would be a better investment. The flames would at least give you a few seconds of amusement. These gloves will only offer you frustration.
(I bought these gloves after being mislead by a few other reviews I have read that seemed to be of the same product.)

Details:
- It's a boxing glove produced for TITLE boxing.
- It's a two-tone glove, black vinyl covering with a red-palm.
- The thumb compartment is attached to the hand of the glove.
- Materials: vinyl (synthetic plastic-leather-like material), basic foam insert padding. No grip bar - it is a small round stick of soft foam in place of a plastic grip bar to simulate the look of an actual grip bar.
- Strap: Velcro wrap-around strap (also called: hook and loop).
- Ventilation: There are five small holes located on the palm underside.
- Sizes:
Medium is 12 Ounces.
Large is 14 Ounces.

The Good Parts:
- It's a boxing glove.
- It arrived.

What's Wrong With It:
- Pairs are not symmetrical, each glove is a different shape. The foam inside one glove is flattened.
- The inside-sleeve of the of the glove is cut too short. This means that a full-length set of fingers will not fit inside the glove.
- Fitment causes you to strike with your fingers, not your knuckles.
- The thumb compartment is aligned in a way that it is pointed straight forward, not allowing you to curve your thumb inwards into a proper fist. This "locking" of the thumb in a straight position causes you to JAM your thumb into your target, whether it be a dense and heavy punching bag or your training partner's eyes. This causes pain and injury.
- The glove design does not have an inward curve on the thumb-side of the hand which allows the thumb compartment to curve inwards for a proper fist.
- The striking surface is completely flat and wide, rather than having a slight curve which conforms to the natural shape of a human fist and allows what I believe is a more proper contact with a target. I think, with this wide and flat design, that contact is primary made with the edge of the glove because punches come at either a slight angle with a jab or straight or higher angular momentum with hooks, swings, and uppercuts (punches do not make contact straight on), rather than being distributed along the center and focusing on the two large knuckles of the 1st (index or pointer finger) and 2nd (middle finger) metacarpal. I believe that this flat design may provide poorer distribution of impact and promote wrist injury.
- This overall improper fitment causes discomfort and does not allow you to make a fist, thus promoting injury.
- A boxing glove is designed to protect your hands from damage when hitting rigid surfaces. If you cannot get a proper fitment, you will damage your hands.
- The wrist strap is stiff and has a rigid plastic card sewn onto it. The stiff strap does not allow you to get a tight fitment without contorting the form of the glove, resulting in poor fitment.
- The rigid, thin plastic TITLE logo card that is sewn onto the strap has edges which point outwards which can scratch and cut a training partner.
- The ventilation is poor. 5 small holes located on the center of the palm is inadequate. Gets hot and sweaty.
- This glove fails its primary purpose (safety) and is not suitable for use.

- The inexcusable problem with this is that is simply does not fit anyone who still has their complete full-length set fingers (fingers which have not been amputated or have deformity).
- The cloth-sleeve inside the glove that you insert your hand into is cut too short. This means that you cannot get a proper fitment. You cannot get your hand completely inside the glove. Being that this is a safety equipment that you meant to strike objects with, this is dangerous. Your knuckles will not be in the proper position. You will be striking the surface with your finger-tips.
- You may be thinking that it is my hand that is the problem, not the glove. That maybe I just have really odd-shaped hands and my fingers is abnormally long. I have the utmost confidence that my hands are not abnormal.
I received a left-hand glove and a right-hand glove. I could fit my hand into the right-handed glove with no problems. The left-hand gloves I could not. I have another brand of gloves that are symmetrical and fit fine.
- There seems to be quality control problems. None of the gloves are symmetrical. One glove is smaller, one glove is bigger. Inside-sleeves are cut short. The gloves have different shapes. The thumb position is different on different pairs on the same exact model of gloves.

My point:
- It is a waste of money. You will want to throw these in the trash a few minutes after you try them on.
- You will mostly likely regret this purchase.
- There are much better alternatives for not much more and you will be much happier with.

5TITLE Boxing can't be beat!  Mar 05, 2012

These gloves are durable and easy to put on/take off and the large size is a perfect fit for all the adults male/female who have used them here at the gym. They are particularly preferred for hitting the heavy bag because they protect the hands and wrists just as good or better than gloves that cost twice as much from other name brands. The Velcro strap is very strong and will not come off when you are pounding your opponent or when you're sweating over the heavy bag, double-end bag, or focus mitts.
