Description:

A pair (2) of black fighting gloves, perfect for punching and sparring. Provides coverage for wrist, knuckles and the back of the hand.

They are light and quick however they do not enclose the thumb or palm. This allows you to close your fist completely - a more natural feeling preferred by some martial artists (and instructors). Ideal for new students or children. However, they are NOT intended for prolonged, heavy bag work. We carry a number of other styles that are much better suited to that type of workout.

They do have an internally formed shape which doesn't make it easy to open your hand completely. While this is great for most sparring, and they still work fine for trapping and grabbing, we don't recommend these for "grappling" styles such as MMA which include a lot of ground work.

These gloves are hand crafted and very durable. Easy on and off with an elastic strap and velcro closing. Finger tips and wrists slide under elastic straps.

For sizing, we generally find that matching your t-shirt size works best.

The same style is also available in red.

I ordered these gloves so I can have some feel with my punches.man do these gloves work.they're so padded that you can hit a wall and won't feel it(not to hard though)I would definitely order theses again.just wish they came in another color,other then that they're awesomatic

I was surprised to get the gloves so fast. I like them a lot. The first time I used them they were comfortable. Sometimes it takes a few uses to get used to the fit of a new piece of gear or equipment, but these were great at first use. For the price I think they are the best deal you can find on this type of hand gear. Didn't have a problem grabbing or using my hands at all. I would recommend them to anyone needing a pair of hand gear and I would purchase this item again.Nice gear thanks.

I had a pair of expensive Everlast Boxing Gloves I bought to go with my heavy bag. I ended up punching the stuffing out of them.

I hit like a truck and I needed gloves that would direct all of my energy into the heavy bag without taking a beating themselves.

I ordered these gloves on December 11th. They arrived on December 12th. Amazing shipping speed for a $6 fee during the holidays.

The first thing I noticed about these gloves were that they were light and easy to put on. At first I was worried that they might be too light, but it turned out to be a benefit and not a detriment.

I've busted the seam out of my heavy bag since I've been using them... but the gloves show no wear and tear. They protect my hands properly and work like a charm.

I wanted gloves that offered a lot of protection and didn't make my hands sweat. I love the padding and they give you the ability to go from sparring to grappling if you wanted to. Piranha Gear has great service and quality equipment.

These gloves are AWESOME! That's all I'll say in one word about the gloves I've just got today. They fit perfectly! I tried it on and did a number on my punching bag set at home and experienced the greatest results ever coming from those gloves! No more using other MMA gloves and/or hand wraps. They're are the perfect gloves needed for any punching bag workouts whether on a heavy bag or a speed bag. I love them and I strongly recommend buying these gloves for you or any other boxing or martial arts enthusiast in your family! Once you try it, you won't have to buy another pair of gloves from any other brand ever again. Go out and buy these gloves! You won't regret it!
