Shock Wave Back-fist sparring gloves - Black

A pair (2) of black fighting gloves, perfect for punching and sparring. Provides coverage for wrist, knuckles and the back of the hand.

They are light and quick however they do not enclose the thumb or palm. This allows you to close your fist completely - a more natural feeling preferred by some martial artists (and instructors). Ideal for new students or children. However, they are NOT intended for prolonged, heavy bag work. We carry a number of other styles that are much better suited to that type of workout.

They do have an internally formed shape which doesn't make it easy to open your hand completely. While this is great for most sparring, and they still work fine for trapping and grabbing, we don't recommend these for "grappling" styles such as MMA which include a lot of ground work.

These gloves are hand crafted and very durable. Easy on and off with an elastic strap and velcro closing. Finger tips and wrists slide under elastic straps.

For sizing, we generally find that matching your t-shirt size works best.
