 GREAT for training!! May 31, 2011

I ordered 2 of these for my daughter who is 11 & training for her Black Belt in TKD. I was unsure of which color to get, as my research on the colors of boards was a little confusing, and having not ever even tried them out, it was hard to know. My daughter likes a challenge (hence the TKD training) ;), and has an amazingly strong kick for her stature & age (this is not me bragging, ok, maybe a tish, but her instructors tell me this), even though the Black Boards are said are meant for adults, I ordered 2 Blacks & they are PERFECT for her for kick breaks. It is a bit difficult for her hand breaks, so I will be ordering a Red Board for those. I wanted to get as close to camparision to the wood boards the class uses for test & competition as far as strength. At times they have to break 2-3 wood boards, so this is a good aid for preparation. If you have a very strong kick for a child, or are an adult, get Black (I think it compares to 2-3 wood boards stacked). Get Red if you need to train for hand breaks (I would say it compares to 1-2 wood boards). I love this training tool, thank you to whoever invented them!! ;)

I ordered the beginner re-breakable board. Upon receipt of the product I found that they shipped me the wrong board. No complaints with Amazon, the service and ease of use were fantastic.
