Solid Shorts Aug 09, 2011
By JK Right off the bat, I will say these are good shorts for the money. Well built and basic. I use them for MMA and Muay Thai and they work well. They do run a little small, so be aware of that. I usually wear a size 31 pants so I ordered the 31/32 and they are a bit snug. Inside has a draw string and a small pocket for your mouth guard or other items. Piranha is also a VERY stand-up company. The shorts were shipped within a day of the order and arrived very soon after. They even hand wrote a thank-you note and included it in the package. This is the kind of service they provide. Good shorts, a good company, what more is there to say.

Piranha Gear - Great company, Great shorts Sep 27, 2008
By J. M. Hutchinson These are great shorts, comfortable, plenty of room with the leg slits. I do jiu jitsu and stand-up using these shorts and have no complaints. In fact, not only are the shorts great - the company is great. I received a pair of huge shorts when I ordered so I called Piranha Gear and talked with Bill. We figured out that I'd gone by the Vale Tudo sizing chart by mistake (my mistake). Bill immediately sent out new shorts with the correct size and simply asked that I get the shorts I had in hand back to them at my convenience. Now really, that kind of customer service is just plain rare...especially when the fault was mine. They certainly won me over as a customer...good service....good product....good deal. I'll be back.

good shorts Sep 20, 2007
By J. Neeley great shorts, good material, tough but actually comfortable, doesnt shrink.practical for fighting, no pockets to rip. sturdy closure doesnt stretch or loosen under stress. not pretty boy fashion shorts with huge logos to look cool.
ive recommended them to two friends and they were both as pleased as i was.
fantastic MMA/grappling shorts for a great price Jan 09, 2010
By J. McDonald These shorts are great for grappling and MMA training. I got these for my husband who normally is a solid 32 waist. The small (31-32) size fits snug but is darn good for wrestling and working out. They don't slip down or ride up and there is plenty of room for those with a small waist but rather large/beefy thighs.
My only criticism: The pant leg are roomy, so roomy that in certain precarious positions, one can see down the pant (like if you are in an open guard or something), so when I wear them (yes, I will eventually buy my own pair!) I wear nylon biker shorts to keep any voyeurs focused on the grappling and not my...you know.
Bottom line: Buy these shorts from this seller (Piranha Gear). Excellent service and attention to detail, as well as ridiculously fast shipping.
Thanks Piranha Gear; you just got yourself a new long-term customer!
The Perfect MMA shorts Dec 02, 2009
By A. C. Peterson These are the perfect mma shorts. They fit comfortably, the slits are great for kicks, and they move/breathe well for ground game. I've never been happier with the fit on board shorts.
