Excellent Product Mar 21, 2008

This is an excellent Gi! As far has heavy cotton uniforms go, this uniform fits nicely, the cotton has a wonderful feel and it's well built. The best part is it isn't stiff like cardboard nor does it feel like cardboard on the skin like many other heavy cotton uniforms. Stick with the wash and care pamplet to care for this uniform and I believe this uniform will hold up for years to come.

Top quality gi for a real bargain Jan 17, 2008
By Paul This is really a fantastic quality gi - better than anything I've found in this price range. They really mean it with the stitching and weight; I feel like this gi will last me for a long, long time. Piranha Gear even shipped it with a helpful guide on how best to care/clean the gi so that it'll last longer. And the shipment itself was fast and hassle-free. Just a top-notch gi for a great price. I'm planning on picking up another.

BEST GI known to man Sep 19, 2009
By dallasswuser Great looking, fits well, sizing chart was accurate, durable (I'd like to think I am tough on my Gi), and great price.
I've tried them all and hands down this one wins the game. This is the Gi other companies are trying to beat.
Buy with confidence.
The Best Gi for the Money Oct 02, 2011
By Metis This is the best gi I have owned. I've gone through about six of them. The cotton is very thick but soft and not too stiff. The drawstring, running through a nylon sleeve, offers a good closure that does not bind and fail to tighten as others I've worn have done. A Tokaido gi of this quality will cost you close to $200. This is about half that. You really can't go wrong with a Piranha Gear uniform.
Great heavyweight gi Sep 18, 2010
By breakid This is a really tough gi. The canvas is quite sturdy and as advertised the hems are in fact stitched 8 times. I'm rather thin so the waist was huge for me (though it cinched up well), but if you are a bit more filled out you don't need to worry about whether this will fit you. The ties for the pants are top are pretty thick which makes it a bit difficult to tie. I wish mine had full sleeves, just because that's what I prefer, but the full length version didn't come in my size. My complaint is that the tie for the gi top is right at my obi level so my obi has to be high, low or pushing the knot into my side.
