think again... Apr 07, 2006
By Joseph Pancheri

Well I have to say, in theory these are good. The reality of it is they won't work. First you have to think about how they fit. They are made from solid steel. The steel is a little wider than your foot so they will slide off the exact same way they slid on even if you tie them. If you can make it so they don't slip off, you have gravity to thank for them still now working. While your body is being pulled downward *that's called weight* your feet are angled to the sides to maintain the spikes in the tree. The end result, your feet fold in on you and you lose your grip. If you don't understand what I just said by all means buy them and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about.
