You get what you pay for... Mar 12, 2010
By Jake Wallace I ordered this for my little brother and, within a few hours of use, it broke. I should have expected this for such a low price. And after trying to contact the seller multiple times to return it, they never contacted back. I do not recommend this seller or any of their products.

Awesome hook, DON'T USE THE ROPE! Apr 22, 2010
By Wesley L. Mcclellan
"Wmac"
This "ninja hook" is a great product. superior construction and strong metal, easily holds my weight and much much more. The rope, on the other hand, would not safely support someone half my weight. If you intend to use this product as it was meant (for climbing, rappelling, or other weight bearing operations where your well being is on the line) do yourself a favor and go pick up some proper climbing/rappelling rope. It'll cost a little more than the cheap stuff that comes with this, but then again it'll cost your family even more for a funeral. Enjoy!

I bought a grappling hook? Weird. May 03, 2009
By Cecil Wade
"no, not that one"
Perfect for my use, which is clearing branches, leaves, etc. from a stream to prevent a natural dam from forming. Not a toy, but I wouldn't try to use it for serious home-invasion work or stealth assassinations unless I weighed less than ... ohh ... 100 pounds.
Extra Hands Feb 03, 2012
By Jonwaron This grappling hook is perfect size and weight for what I'm doing, snagging dead limbs from trees in back yard. I "GRAPPLE" a limb, get our son to pull on the rope, put tension on the limb and cut it off with pole chainsaw directing the limb away from other trees, shrubs and house. Lowes or Home Depot did not carry GH nor did that fancy Climbing Stuff store at the mall. Great price at Amazon and no shipping charge. Hook folds when not in use for easy storage. Get every thing from Happy Hips Dog Treats to........ Grappling Hooks from AMAZON.
