A Must Have Jul 28, 2010 I very seldomly purchase ANYTHING without first looking at reviews, and I do not understand why these got a bad rating. These gloves are a MUST HAVE if your in a rush and dont feel like wrapping your hands or tend to wrap too tight such as myself. I have always wrapped my hands and had my doubts about these gloves. I'm a VERY hard hitter and have busted knuckles even with gloves and hands wrapped. It got to the point where I had to take a hiatus from the heavy bag cause I was causing some pretty bad damage to my hands. When these first came in the mail, I knew for sure I was in for some trouble, they do not look like much, infact they almost look like they would guarantee a broken wrist, but these gloves have SAVED my hands. I would recommend to ANYONE. I spend anywhere from 12-13 hours a week on a bag and have yet to have a SINGLE problem with the gloves. The only thing I would suggest, and this goes with ANYTHING you buy on the internet, is you might want to go to a sports store and try on a pair to find out what size you need.

For a woman Jun 02, 2010 Reading the description makes it very clear these are good gloves, however nowhere does it specify they are for a woman. It wasn't until i realized they also sell them in pink that they are girls gloves, and naturally did not fit when they arrived.
Great padding, though lacking durability and stability May 19, 2010 Bought these handwraps about a month ago from a local store. First class they felt great as a beginner boxer, great padding while using full 16oz training gloves. The fact that it takes seconds to put them on and take them off makes it great for someone who doesn't know how to do wraps themselves. After a couple of weeks, the padding is still good but the wrist and hand stability are lacking as I've starting hitting harder. A couple of good hard sessions on the bags and my hands feel swollen and have some soreness. I don't know if this is due to my hitting style or if its due to the lack of stability in these speed wraps. After using the mexican style elastic wraps, I would not come back to these, the stability of the traditional wrap is far superior to these. The neoprene construction tore during a training session with plyometric conditioning. Bottom line: If you are a beginner, these are a good bet as they provide good padding for the break-in weeks of hitting a bag, but long term look into a 180" length handwrap for the durability and stability provided with a traditional wrap.
Falls apart in no time May 15, 2010 I bought these to replace hand wraps. They fit relatively well and are somewhat adjustable using the elastic straps that make an "X" on the back of the hand. However, they are made of a combination of mesh fabric, foam rubber, and leather. The foam rubber started to tear away from the mesh material in less than 4 weeks. If the gloves were made of a more durable material, they would be great. I can't recommend them given the lack of durability.
Were great for a while...until they fell apart! May 12, 2010 I purchased these because they seemed like a good alternative to wrapping my hands. And they actually worked very well for a few weeks. But then, they started falling apart! The EverGel is still on the glove, but all of the black fabric has fallen of revealing a thin mesh. If you intend to use them every once in a while, they'd be fine, but I certainly can't recommend these if you intend to use them on a regular basis.
