I have practiced martial arst for a while, my sensei started teaching eskrima kali and the stick i bought was of an average quality at one of the borders there were a few cracks (defects from the bamboo wood) that makes this stick weak for kumite(combat) only for Techniques.....

Everything looks fine and is as it should have been. There were no cracks or chips in the wood. Works well for beating people with.
