The PROPER direction-- not the, so-called, "wind-swept" direction Jan 17, 2012

This is how the American flag is properly displayed. Since we see the OTHER direction on serviceman's uniforms, some people don't realize that if you were a SHERIFF--or the like--and you wore a flag on EACH sleeve, this one'd be the one on your LEFT-- or on a wall. The other [direction] flag would be on your right sleeve, but never on a wall. This damn directional stuff started with the POST OFFICE. Yep! THEY started it with EAGLES... not flags... which both fly AT you.. or is it away? Yeah! It's AT ya! American Flag w/ Gold Trim Patch It's called wind-swept, because, if you had two little flags on sticks, and you ran down the road, they'd look like THAT o-n-l-y if you bought two, seperate, different- direction, flag patches. I've got the two different ones on the proper sleeve. I'm just Gung Ho!

Oh!
And get out and VOTE!
I may just disagree with WHO you vote for--or against--but if you complain, and DIDN'T vote... it is people like YOU that help the 40% of us that are REPUBLICANS, and the 40% of us that are DEMOCRATS get upset because it is YOU and that remaining 20%---that are Communist/Socialist/Vegans/Whatever---that actually determine who the President IS! So there!
